Expert Solution
Step 1

Anne Bradstreet was an early English poet and writer of America. She was a famous figure in American literature. Bradstreet migrated to Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1630, along with her family. Apart from being a mother of eight, she spent considerable time writing poetry. Phillis Wheatley was the foremost African-American author of poetry to publish a book in America. She was sold into slavery in West Africa and brought to Boston. The Wheatly family was her master's, and noticing her talent in poetry, the Wheatly family encouraged her to write more.
