I have found in the book of mechanism and hypothesis in organic science (1977, Lowrey, et al) that (Me)3P is more grounded nucleophile than (MeO)3P. Table 4.5, page 188. Yet, shouldn't something be said about alpha impact? I imagine that in light of alpha impact, trimethoxyphosphine ought to be more grounded nucleophile.
