Hillary Van Horn-Gatlin, PhD is a clinical psychologist with a focus in multi-disciplinary healthcare who has been with Kaiser Permanente for more than 10 years. From 2015-2021, she served as Regional Chair of Chiefs of Behavioral Medicine, transitioning to a position of leadership and organizational development this past year. Dr. Van Horn-Gatlin maintains a role as a faculty member for The Permanente Medical Group Northern California’s Communication Consultant Group, as well as Health Disparities Quality Team. Since the start of the pandemic, she has been integral in providing Kaiser Permanente physicians and employees COVID-19 information and tips for enhancing your health and well-being through on-going webinars. She is a passionate advocate for Kaiser Permanente members, her fellow physicians, and the community to remove health disparities, provide mental health support and awareness, and promote overall wellness. Dr. Van Horn-Gatlin describes her work in these areas as her greatest professional accomplishments, while raising her three young children is her greatest personal accomplishment. |
