Disaster management cycle is compilations of steps involving all the unexpected events happened. Many organizations and individual's do this work which include events like natural disaster, property damage etc. By keeping the track of the disasters one could help the victims or people who have experienced the disaster to rebuild, reconstruct or recover the resources from the disaster.
The main purpose of disaster management cycle is to minimize the losses as much as they can by evacuating the property, restoring important items from the site or blocking roads etc. It also involves handling the injured people and ensuring the safer escape for the citizens. Assistance is provided to the people in need during or after any disaster. For example- rescuing the people from there houses to a safer place at the time of flood, not everyone is capable of escaping. Assistance is provided to the people who are handicapped, children and old people. After escaping the people to the safer place, they also assist them to find there medical personal who can look after them.
The basic goal of disaster management cycle also involves the recovery from the incident. They help in restoring life in all ways possible so that life goes back to normal again.
