Gaming is a topic of interest among the youth and adolescents today. It's been found that adolescents and children who have poor skills of self regulation are much more likely to get addicted to gaming than their counterparts. Such children fail to develop healthy relationships with their peers and are often loners, thereby resorting to gaming to spend their time. Since parents and teachers are the ones who play the most important role in educating a child and helping them regulate their emotions well, thus, it becomes even more important to plan interventions which include school and family to prevent gaming addiction.
