WHAT DID THIS
EXPERIENCE TEACH YOU
ABOUT YOURSELF?
While working in retail, I was assigned to finish stocking
shelves during the holiday rush.
Since the merchandise was already organized, I was able to
quickly transfer merchandise from the back room to the sales
floor. I started with merchandise that was closest to the door
for efficiency so I was not trying to get around other
merchandise that would be in the way. Once I delivered all
the merchandise to the different department, I started putting
the product on the shelves so customers could easily access
and purchase the product.
I successfully accomplished my task while at the same
time took care of any questions my customer might have.I
consistently have more work assigned to me compared to
my colleagues as I can be relied upon to focus and
complete it.
I learned that I can focus and accomplish objectives without
the need of constant supervision.
