Would the balance of power theory be relevant today? I would like to thing about North Korea’s nuclear program affecting the balance of power with the United States, but it’s not as great as something compared to the USSR gaining control over Eastern Europe, so I’m not sure if it fully applies to this day and age. Also with the question about states, I’m not fully sure if it’s about countries at this point, as I would understand this applying to medieval Germany or the Holy Roman Empire with all those mini states and not yet considered a country, but not sure about this day and age as well as most countries are all unified as a whole, except maybe for something like the United States.
