Discussion Board #3 Organization Structure Roger is employed as the electrician at the Springhill Therapy Center. Springhill offers traditional physical therapy and occupational therapy. However, they also offer other therapeutic services such as speech therapy, pelvic floor therapy, and sports therapy, among others. Each of the specific services are housed and organized as departments. Roger's supervisor is the Manager of the Maintenance Department of the facility. The procedure, that is in place for reporting and requesting electrical issues, is for other departments to submit a request via the online intra departmental system. Roger's supervisor downloaded a repair request from the Occupational Therapy Department and asked Roger to take care of the repair. Roger completed the repair and entered the repair into the online intra departmental system as complete. Two days later a request for the same repair was received. Roger's supervisor asked him to take care of the problem once again. Roger goes to the Occupational Therapy Department to determine the problem. Tim is the Manager of the Occupational Therapy Department. Tim confronts Roger and proceeds to tell Roger what is doing incorrectly, what he does not understand, and what he needs to do and that he needs to do his job better. Tim then continues to evaluate Roger's abilities and skills.
