Step 1 INTRODUCTION

 

Personality is defined an individual's unique and comparatively stable patterns of behavior, thoughts and feelings. The term personality has been derived from the Latin word 'Persona'. The term 'persona' means a mask which the Greek actors used for the purpose of covering their faces when they performed on the stage. No 2 individual's, including identical twins are alike, each and every individual, has a unique personality that sets them apart from other individuals.  Personality of an individual is determined by different environmental factors. The experiences gathered by an individual through continuous interaction with the external world, shape an individual's personality. When we describe other persons, we often use particular personality traits. Personality traits can be defined as a specific dimensions along which each person differ in consistent and stable ways. Each and every individual possess different traits that make up their personality. For example, one person may be friendly, outspoken, outgoing, extrovert  and on the other hand, a person may be calm, composed and reserved and mostly introvert type.
