Looking back at the history of our society, it is seen that women have always been marginalized from the mainstream society because of their sex and gender. This ideology has given birth to the belief that men are superior than women because they are capable to making rational and practical decisions in life while women are occupied with emotions and feelings. In matters of politics and economics, firm decision making capabilities are needed because of the huge impact it creates in society. Their is little to no space of one's emotional feelings in such institutions. As such women are kept outside from public sphere and forced to remain under shut doors with no voice and opinions for their own.
