Transcribed Image Text:5. a) Define and illustrate with your own sketches 3 classes of fit that
apply to a hole /shaft combination.
b) Using a hole diameter of 42.500 mm and the Table 1 extract
from BS 4500 Limits and Fits for a Unilateral Hole Based
System, quantify the hole and shaft limits and sizes for
(1) H7/g6
(2) H7/k6
(3) H7/p6
c) Use graph paper to produce a scaled simplified drawing to
show the limits and "class of fit in each case.
d) Define what is meant by "geometrical tolerance" for
1) Shaft Roundness
2) Shaft Cylindricity
Using a 42.500 mm diameter "g6 shaft, 100 mm long, draw al
correctly labelled sketch of the part together with labels to
show the limits of size and the "geometrical tolerances for a
roundness of 0.005 mm and cylindricity of 0.003 mm.
