From a historical perceptive, humankind has undergone some of the dark ages, and hopefully human beings were able to beat it. Thus, human history is really filled with wars, conflicts, crisis, and revolutions. All these factors somehow changed the world as we know it. But it all has its own negative advantages. In sum, human history has gone through some dark ages, as well as, bright ages. It's all interconnected in nature. In this sense, according to historians, one of the darkest periods of human history is considered to be the Great Depression period which started in 1929 and continued till 1933.
