During 1896, Emil Kraepelin differentiated the major psychiatric illness into two clinical types know as Dementia Paraecox and Manic Depressive Illness. He recognized the characteristic features of dementia paraecox such as delusion, Hallucination, motor disturbances. Afterward in 1908, Swiss Psychiatrist Eugen Bleuler coins the term "Schizophrenia" from the Greek word schezein means "to split" and phren means "the mind" .
