FerrellJEDR8201-3 5 2. Compute the mean, median, and mode for computer (computer literacy).
FerrellJEDR8201-3 6 a. What value is the most representative measure of the central tendency for this variable and why? The most representative measure of the central tendency for this variable is the mean. This is because it uses all the values in the dataset to provide an average for the dataset. 3. Calculate the range and the standard deviation for computer (computer literacy).

FerrellJEDR8201-3 7 a. What does the range tell you about the data? The range in this data collection tells the difference between your maximum value of 73 and your minimum value of 27. The range is the difference between the highest and lowest values. According to Booker-Zorigian (2021), it can also be known to be affected by an outlier. b. What does the standard deviation tell you about the data? The standard deviation in this data collection is the average amount that the scores or distribution deviate from the mean. The more widely spread out, the larger the standard deviation (Booker- Zorigian, 2021). 4. Create a frequency distribution table and a graph for Uni (university).
FerrellJEDR8201-3 8 a. What is the most appropriate measure of central tendency? The most appropriate measure of central tendency is mode because this data is not continuous data, but it is categorical data, which is nominal data due to there being no order of the universities. It is just name only in the data set (Booker-Zorigian, 2021). b. Please provide a rationale for why you selected this measure of central tendency for this variable. When deciding which measure of central tendency to use, you must consider both levels of measurement and skew. Mode is most often used for variables that are nominal. So, for this data set, the mode is the only measure of central tendency.
