3-3 Final Project Data Analysis: Milestone Two: Describe the Data
The data set represents the correlation between age and survivor follow-up status. The sample size consists of 100 patients. The sample size comprises ages 35-44 and 45-69, where 49%
are alive and 51% are dead. There is a likelihood of limitation in the data due to the limited sample
size. Follow-up treatment compliance after initial treatment is a variable not included in the data set. Determining whether the patient followed instructions is essential for an accurate set. Patients may be unable to attend follow-up appointments due to time and financial restraints, which can affect the data collection. Failing to follow post-MI recovery could be included in the survival and death ratio. An unrelated factor, such as age-related illnesses, could also cause death. Which variables are you investigating?
Follow-up status (alive or dead) for MI patients in an age range of 100 patients
Categorical Frequency of each value of the variable
Alive= 49
Dead=51
Relative Frequencies (percentages):
Alive= 49%
Dead= 51%
Quantitative
Follow-up status for each patient
Mean = 68.25
Median = 71
Range = 60
Standard Deviation= 14.4287
What does each statistic tell you about the data for the given variable? Understanding the meaning and significance of these statistics is crucial for analyzing data. By examining the mean, median, range, and standard deviation, we can gain valuable insights into the patterns and trends within the data. These statistical measures help us identify the data's central tendency, dispersion, and relative variability, enabling us to make informed decisions.

3-3 Final Project Data Analysis: Milestone Two: Describe the Data
To what extent does age influence MI patient's survival (follow-up status)? “
The prevalence and the severity of atherosclerotic coronary artery disease (CAD) increase with age in
both men and women
. Autopsy studies have shown that more than 50% of the people older than 60 years have significant CAD, with increasing prevalence of left main and/or triple-vessel CAD
with older age.” (Carro et al., 2011)
An
older study from 2010 Trusted Source (Yazdanyar et al., 2009) no
tes that the incidence rate of heart attack is seven times more likely in those aged 65–74 compared to those aged 35–44. The incidence rate has a two- to threefold increase for those over 80 compared to those aged 65–69. While the average age for a heart attack is
64.5 for men and 70.3 for women
, nearly 20% of those who die of heart disease are under the age of 65. About 82% of people who die of coronary heart disease are 65 or older.

Also, do not give plagirised answer.
Suppose that you have two sets of data. The first set is a list of all the
injuries that were seen in a clinic in a month's time. The second set
contains data on the number of minutes that each patient spent in the
waiting room of a doctor's office. You can make assumptions about
other information or variables that are included in each data set.
For each data set, propose your idea of how best to represent the key
information.
To organize your data, would you choose to use a frequency table, a
cumulative frequency table, or a relative frequency table? Why?
What type of graph would you use to display the organized data from
each frequency distribution? What would be shown on each of the
axes for each graph?
