Mean: 161.68707 Median: 162.20000 Variation: St.Dev.: 7.48296 Range: 46.9000 5-Number Summary: Min.: 134.5 Q1: 156.50000 Q2:162.2000 Q3: 166.90000 Max.: 181.4 Outliers: To find the outliers, it would be datapoints above Q3 by 15.6 and anything below Q1 by 15.6 The outliers is anything below 140.9 and anything above 151.3 C. Graph b is skewed to the left and graph a appears to be almost symmetric. Although, the outlier is larger for graph a than it is for graph b. In addition, it appears there is more varaiations with heights between graph a because of its larger mean and median. 13.2
All of the boxplots are skewed to the left, meaning that the data was not symmetrically distributed. Although, each Airport Data Speed is skewed slightly differently. T-Mobile almost has symmetrical distribution and a wider range of speed within the quarters of Q1 and Q3. While Sprint shows that it has a low data speed and the least amount of range based on the size of the box and the lack of range between Q1 and Q3. Verizon would have the highest data speed at 20 but it still skewed to the left and its quarters are showing less range then T-Mobile. The asterisks on the boxplot for Verizon would be the outliers, meaning it was outside of the values of above Q3 by at least 20.4. Which can be interpreted that some Data Speeds were unusually high.
