2 A brief description of the program to be developed. The suggested agenda would comprise an obligatory educational module addressing the topic of theft and its repercussions, alongside a bi-weekly assembly where participants could express apprehensions pertaining to their residential circumstances. Through the educational course, individuals who enter the shelter would be duly informed that engaging in larceny is strictly prohibited and will result in severe consequences. Additionally, it will apprise the members that they may at any time seek the assistance of the shelter's advocates in acquiring the essential items. During the bi-weekly house meeting, sanctuary members would have the opportunity to voice any concerns they might have in relation to their living conditions. As a result of these two program enhancements, the residents of the new living space will feel more secure. Criteria for inclusion in the program (which clients and why) Those who have survived domestic violence and are residents of The Family Place's shelter would be the target audience. By fortifying the shelter's infrastructure, this program will not only benefit the shelter's current occupants but also ensure its long-term viability. The commotion surrounding the theft of items from the shelter could be put to an end by this program. Justification for the proposed program. What two best methods would you use to gather credible information to support the need for your program (e.g., interview, surveys, focus groups, etc.). Why? In order to procure reliable information to substantiate the necessity of my program, I would employ two methodologies: focus groups and surveys. I would utilize surveys to differentiate the member's targeted desires from their concerns. This will establish the foundation of the program. Following that, I would proceed to the discussion group. Participating in the discussion group will enable me to gain a fundamental understanding of the members' perceptions regarding what constitutes a comfortable
3 secure space. To reach a consensus, information would be collected from members of all Family Place shelters. References: Dudley, J. R. (2020).Social work evaluation: Enhancing what we do(3rd ed.). OxfordUniversity Press
