OBSERVATION DURING THE MEETING Al-Anon is a support group for spouses, parents, siblings, and other family members. The "Three Legacies" of Al-Anon are three sets of guiding principles. "Recovery through the Twelve Steps," "Unity through the Twelve Traditions," and "Service through the Twelve Concepts of Service" are among them. Al-Anon is a support group for people whose family members have a history of alcoholism. Family members expressed their fear of failing in various ways. Others revealed that they struggled with feelings of anxiety, guilt, and shame as a result of growing up in an alcoholic household. Some individuals also stated that being in this circumstance with their family makes them ill and irritated. Some people also say that their family causes them stress and depression since they don't know how to deal with it. The program encourages people to think positively.
