2 In our conversation about technology in the classroom with my mentor principal, we were astounded by the progress that teachers had made in the previous 12 months. We briefly discussed the differences between the use of technology pre-pandemic and post-pandemic. In our school system, we started off as fully remote learners but gradually moved to a hybrid model. In the last few years, we have returned to in-person instruction. We have observed how technology is employed during curriculum and instruction at the conclusion of our unofficial walkthrough. It has come to my attention that the teacher did not make the most of the technology available. Instructors were using a lot of Teachers Pay Teachers worksheets. But we've added new technological tools that teachers can utilize to engage with the pupils. For learning management, we now utilize Schoology. In order to keep students interested in their studies, we also use NearPod, Jamboard, and Kahoot. These programs were put in place so that kids could learn how to use computers and incorporate enjoyable elements into their education in addition to doing worksheets on paper. There is a computer available for each student in the school. At the start of the school year, we gave them to each and every pupil. Any student who damages their computer can acquire a replacement by bringing it to the attention of the school's computer technician. According to my principal, the government funds our computers each year. To ensure that every student has a current computer, this is being done. A few educators have made the most of integrating technology into their lesson plans. They provide kids with imaginative and educational assignments. For example, fourth grade teachers assigned the pupils to work in groups to develop a video presentation based on the topic they had learned. The number of computers in the storage room needs to be counted in order to develop a plan for using technology. To give him a "global perspective" and put him ahead of the curve,
3 she would need to research the most recent technological developments and examine events in other school districts and globally. discussing views regarding the daily learning environment with teachers and students in conversation with stakeholders. Since technology plays such an important role in education, numerous professional development programs are implemented. This is intended to make using a computer easier and more comfortable for teachers. Teachers are given opportunity to practice and experiment with the software during and after the training, as well as any new resources the district may have discovered that could be beneficial for both educators and kids. The computers are constantly being watched while the students are using them. This is to ensure the safety and appropriateness of both teachers and kids. To keep pupils safe, the district has also imposed limitations on a few websites and browsers. School culture is significantly impacted by the usage and misuse of technology. After they began using technology to support student learning, my mentor principle saw changes in the classroom environment. My principal continues to keep an eye on educators and learners who are experiencing difficulties utilizing technology to support their lessons. There is always someone available to assist at my school. “Educators dedicate time to collaborate with both colleagues and students to improve practice, discover and share resources and ideas, and solve problems” (International Society for Technology in Education, 2021). My objective as a future leader is to have my teachers work together so they can feel at ease using technology in the classroom. The aim of being a great leader is to provide an example for others to follow, which calls for attending meetings and learning more from instructors.
