BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW
Introduction
What is biblical worldview we ask ourselves; biblical worldview is the beliefs in which a person sees the world around them and how they interpret the world. If a person wants to seek God, then they will understand what biblical worldview would mean. As a Christian, it our duty to understand what is meant by biblical worldview. The teaching of the Bible gives an understanding of biblical worldview through the ideas, values, beliefs, and faith that the Bible interprets. I believe God is the creator of all things and that you love the Lord with all your heart. Biblical Worldview
A person’s worldview can be described as the capacity of rationale thought that comes with one’s beliefs (Brown, 2018)
. The way a person understands what the world is interpreting with biblical worldview is based on the teachings of the Bible. The Bible teaches us to be humble and love those around us as Jesus loves the church. One thing we must always do is respect the biblical worldview of others even when they are different than our own. The image of God in man is important to understand human relationships and the relationship one would have with God (Brown, 2018)
. One that truly believes, should grow the knowledge of God continually as God will grant the cognitive ability to increase the knowledge of God (Brown, 2018)
. In Revelations 21: 4-5 “Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful”.
The Prophet Jeremiah, And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord: and they shall be my people and I will be their God: For they shall return unto me with their whole heart” (Brown, 2018). Having a biblical worldview is to acknowledge that there are changes to be made in the world. As Christians, we should be the model of others as we try 2

to please God. The world needs to change and the changes should be based on the teachings of the bible. Christian Philosophy of Education
The Christian Philosophy of Education is based on the practicing of symbolic language in
schools allows students the opportunity to express themselves to respond to a life alternating event (Van Den Berg & Van Der Spek, 2019)
. The philosophy of education from a Christian point of view is that it integrates biblical principles into a school curriculum, certain decision making, and real-life experiences so that one can understand the purpose of life. Cognitive skills
are realized through perception and interpretation of reality (Van Den Berg & Van Der Spek, 2019)
. In Proverbs 22:6 states “T
rain up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he
will not depart from it”. I see this as a teacher can train a student on how to live their life and that the student can grow as a student. The one thing we must do as Christians is to ensure that the student knows the true meaning and teachings of God as they apply it to life itself.
Implications for Educational Practice
The truth is that all students have the ability to learn. As teachers, we must do was is necessary in order to give the students the skills that they need in life. Cultural humility is the key to self-reflection, critique, lifelong learning, and partnership-building (Turkson-Orcan, et al., 2022)
. Cultural humility may be new to others, but as Christians it has been a core principle that is the quality of life to all Christians (Turkson-Orcan, et al., 2022)
. Educators are leaders that can get students motivated in ways learning new skills. As teachers, we can show students 3

how to use real-life situations to access new knowledge. Many teachers have students that struggle every day and these students under achieve. As a Special Education teacher, I have seen the achievement gaps in the students that are on my caseload base on the culture and climate of that school. I have always felt that a positive climate and culture of school can create a positive response among teachers and students. One thing I have learned that an oral response plays an integral part of school culture (Schunk, 2000)
. God works in many ways, I never thought I would be a teacher much less enjoy being a teacher. I have learned a lot from my attendance at Liberty University through my other degree. Conclusion
The most important thing when it comes to a biblical worldview is that it should be applied to educational practices. As a teacher, I will try to implement certain biblical worldview practices into my teachings. I know most schools do not like to mix God into their daily curriculum, but I would love to see schools implement the importance of God and the bible. I believe schools would have a positive school culture if a biblical worldview was utilized in the school. The way schools are now, especially after the COVID19 pandemic any help to improve teacher morale is a welcome boost to educators.
