Orthodox Jews believe in one God, who created the universe. They believe that God chose the Jews to be his covenant of people (Corduan,2013). Orthodox Jews believe God is Omnipotent, Omnibenevolent, and Omniscient (Key Beliefs-OCR, n.d.). 03/16/2024 4 Core Beliefs One God (Monotheism)
The Torah is also known as the Hebrew bible and is the first five stories in the Old Testament. The Torah is so important to Judaism because it is the written and oral law in which God commands the people of Judaism to live (Vankin, 2020). Divided into clean and unclean animals. Animals must be killed quickly draining the blood right away. Milk and meat should not be prepared together. Orthodox Jews keep to a strict diet, and they only eat Kosher. They have a lot of dietary restrictions that they have to follow set forth by the kashrut. Body & Blood Misunderstanding the Jews have of Christianity Cont.… Christians through out time have been accused of using blood in their communion but that is not true. Christians use the language of blood (Levine, 2017). Meaning that the bread represents the body of Christ, and the wine represents his blood.

Many believe that there is just one sect of Judaism. But Judaism is multifaceted. ( Judaism: The Top Three Misconceptions , n.d.). Staying in the comfort zone of your religion allows for misconceptions and leaves people venerable to the wrong information. Studding Judaism will help end Ignorance
There are so many different similarities between Judaism and Christianity a long with other religions Christians who study Judaism would come to find out that there are many similarities to Christianity.
