Introduction that explains the importance of Scripture as the basis for a faithful theology, the importance of contextualization, and the identification of a guiding theme and mission motifs to structure your ministry. Scripture serves as the foundation for developing an understanding of theology, who God is, His will, the very nature of God. Throughout Scripture the redemptive plans God had prepared and laid out the principles of guiding our lives. Looking at contextualizing it cannot be overstated, as it bridges the gap between timeless biblical truths and the diverse cultural, social, and historical truths. This adaptive approach ensures that the power that the Gospels bring are what they were intended for. Within the realm of ministry, a clearly defined guiding theme and mission motifs are essential. The guiding theme acts as an unifying thread that offers coherent and direction, while missions motif provides a actionable principles derived from Scripture, aligning the efforts with the mission of God. 2. Analysis of the particular Scriptures submitted in the Topic 2 assignment and Topic 3 presentation that form the basis of your theology of mission. The specific Scriptures that were submitted in Topic two and presented in topic three serves as a foundational pillar for constructing a theology of mission. The analysis of these scriptures reveals an insight into the very nature and purpose of the mission in alignment with God’s plan for redemption. Scriptures such as Isaiah, 49:6 Matthew 28:19-20, Acts, 1:8, Romans 10:14-15 and Revelations 7:9-10, these verses are emphasizing the universal scope of the mission God set before us. Within looking at Isaiah 49:6, it a prophetic declaration that extends the mission beyond just Israel’s restoration to a universal reach. God appointed His people to be a light to all nations. Matthew 28:19-20 known as the Great Commission, establishes the mandate for disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them. This scriptural foundation brings the understanding of the nature of God reach all. Acts 1:8 complements the delineating a geographical progression from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth by being empowered by the Holy Spirit in believers. Romans 10:14-15 highlights the centrality pf preaching and the role of the messengers in the progress of salvation. These verses bring the intentional and purposeful engagement of believers in spreading the Good news and proclaiming it. Within Revelations provides a visionary glimpse into the diverse of the nation, tribe, people, language, and standing before the throne in worship. This passage reinforces the redemption and the mission of God. 3. Identification of the guiding theme and its connection to your theology of mission. (Optional for this outline assignment. This is in lieu of a conclusion. My theology of mission is anchored in the word of God which these verses help support. It will guide a contextualized approach to proclaiming the Good news in a culturally diverse world. Recognizing this woven into humanity I will apply the guiding theme and mission motifs derived from Scripture to adapt to the message without compromising its essence. Understanding the unique context, language and worldviews, I will be emphasized how to strategize where I am at, drawing from Romans 10:14-15. Each part of these Scriptures brings a tailored approach of beginning where I am, to the ends of the earth even if I am not the one going, I am equipping those to go.
