 Describe what you believe is the most empowering takeaway from the participant's perception of why . The most empowering takeaway from the participant’s perception of why was because they care. He mentions that if he can help someone make a change, then his living will not be in vain. I agree with many of the reasons why, but I could connect with this person the most because I am the same way. Everyone needs help and we should be able to count on each other for success.  Describe how changes to your why throughout your life span can impact your attitudes, beliefs, and values. In my life, I have always had the need to help others. My grandma was the same way, and I learned a lot from her. I always wanted to have a pure heart and do whatever I can to help someone else. When I succeed, I feel so good and that is why I do it. I have worked at jobs that require me to help someone for example, I was a certified nurse’s aide and helped children or adults with disabilities. I was able to help them see the positives in life even though they thought their life was over. I also work in a preschool because I want to help these children be mindful of others and help them to build character. My goal in 5 years would be to be an elementary school counselor because I feel that the best time to help someone would be when they are young. Many kids do not get the support they need and end up having depression, anxiety, ptsd and so forth. I want to be that change for these kids.
