The behavior | caused was twords my daughter while she was growing up. | caused her a lot of anxiety, that has gone into her adult life. My helicopter parenting was very over exaggerated when it came to parenting my older children. | would run the streets and come home with this overwhelming fear that | had to make sure | was protecting my children from the world. | should have been protecting them from me. My daughter now fears driving because she'd seen me being scared to learn how to drive. Never told her the reason behind the fear, until she was an adult.
