CONCLUSIONS It is clear from the descriptive statistics and paired t-test analysis that there is a significant difference between the "Post-test BDI score" and the "Pre-test BDI score." 32.93 (SD= 12.36) was the mean "pre-test BDI score," and 29 (SD= 12.25) was the mean "post-test BDI score. "The paired t-test yielded a 0.001032-small p-value. It is evident from this low p-value that the null hypothesis can be disproved. Consequently, this analysis concludes that the alternative hypothesis—which contends that the true mean difference between the two scores is not equal to zero—is sufficiently supported by the available data. Overall, the results suggest that the treatment was effective in lowering BDI scores. APPENDICES
