What role did this concept play in the American Revolution?

Federalism- It is where the power is shared
between the state, local and national
governments.
Blueprint of government in which the powers were shared and balanced between states
and national interests. The compromise was woven into the Constitution and the Bill of
Rights and known as federalism. Federalists required the Constitution in order to safeguard
the liberty and independence that the American Revolution created, even though they
created a political philosophy.
Republicanism- It is where fathers discouraged
it endlessly but that all men rich, and poor are
equal to the law.
It played a role as something that caused the Revolution because Americans were more
dedicated to republic values and property rights. Which helped cause the Revolution.
Social compact (also known as social contract)-
That all live under moral and political behavior
It led the revolutionaries to break free of Britain, it was the idea that the government exists
with consent of the governed that led it.
Popular sovereignty- Its where the power is held
by the people not a king.
It let the people of territories decide themselves whether slavery would be permitted or not.
Rather than the congress deciding.
