5.2 Assignment: Limiting Government Power
Directions:
In this assignment you will be asked to identify, analyze, and explain factors that limit the power of the government. Draw upon
the current lesson, but also think about our earlier lessons, especially those regarding the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and
the rest of the constitutional amendments (these are covered in Unit 4).
For each of the factors, list an example that fits the category. Think about how this meets the expectation of a limit on
government power, and then explain in 2-3 sentences each why the example you selected limits the power of the government.
