African Americans have fought for their right to be equal with the rest of the world. With the
Civil Rights movement, they were able to fight for schools for their kids with Board V.
Education.

14th Amendment- Anyone born in the United States is an American citizen.
Rosa Parks- She was arrested for not giving up her seat on a bus. Which cause people to
support the civil rights movement and speed up the process.
Bloody Sunday- An attack on a peaceful protest for voter rights that turned ugly.
