Philosophy of Education Final Draft Teachers play a crucial role in influencing the future of today's quickly evolving educational landscape by transferring knowledge, encouraging critical thinking, and instilling values in pupils. To benefit students' lives, teachers must align their professional practices with a clear personal philosophy of education. Inclusion, Mentorship, Passion, Accountability, Communication, and Teamwork (IMPACT) ideals from Alliant University offer a thorough framework to direct and improve the role of educators in society (Alliant, 2021). The essay will explain how I will incorporate Alliant's IMPACT values into my educational philosophy and professional teaching practice. Integrity: Integrity is the cornerstone of moral and appropriate workplace behavior. I shall uphold integrity as a teacher by leading by moral example for my pupils. I promise to be sincere in my contacts, tasks, and evaluations. For instance, I will explain the repercussions of plagiarism and cheating to my students while highlighting the value of academic honesty (Bailey, 2020). Motivation: Motivation is necessary to motivate kids to learn and develop. I will inject enthusiasm into my instruction by tying teachings to practical applications and encouraging a growth mentality. For instance, I might talk about how historical events have affected contemporary society in a history class to assist the students in comprehending the significance of historical events and their relevance to contemporary times. Purpose: Education gains meaning from purpose. By fostering a welcoming learning atmosphere where students may explore their interests and passions, I will assist students in finding their purpose. To help students find meaning in their studies, I advise them to select study topics related to their passions. Accountability: Accountability is essential for both academic and personal progress. I will foster a sense of accountability in my pupils by outlining my expectations clearly, offering helpful criticism, and promoting self-evaluation. I will ensure
that my evaluations of graded work are honest and open. Courage: Courage is the capacity to meet difficulties head-on and overcome barriers. I will encourage boldness in my kids by creating a safe environment where they may voice their thoughts and ask questions without being judged. I will promote civil discourse while debating touchy subjects like social justice problems. Teamwork: I would work with my students to make sure that they understand the assignments and what is needed to ensure that they are successful. For instance, if a student has trouble understanding a specific idea, I will offer extra help and resources while hammering out the importance of perseverance. Personal educational philosophy: My educational philosophy is based on the notion that learning should be holistic, inclusive, and student-centered. The IMPACT values of Alliant perfectly complement this way of thinking. I firmly believe in the ability of education to change lives. Integrity is essential to this viewpoint because it supports the notion that learning can be trusted. Motivation and purpose propel students toward their goals, and accountability ensures they accept responsibility for their educational journey. Creating an inclusive classroom where all children feel valued and appreciated requires guts. To ensure that my teaching materials and practices are inclusive and culturally sensitive, I will actively seek out varied perspectives and opinions. Education is also a lifetime endeavor. This principle is embodied by tenacity, which inspires students to see obstacles as opportunities for personal development and to persevere in their respective quest for knowledge. These beliefs will serve as my guiding principles as I progress through my career as a teacher, influencing what happens in the classroom and the larger educational community (Alliant, 2021) My philosophy and professional teaching practice include inclusion, mentorship, passion, accountability, communication, and teamwork. Inclusion: The idea of inclusion is integral to both my philosophy and professional approach. All kids should have equitable access to a quality education regardless of origin, skills, or differences. Because of my inclusive teaching methods, every student will feel welcomed, appreciated, and supported. To achieve this, it will be necessary to use various instructional resources, execute differentiated education, and promote respect and acceptance among the pupils. Mentorship: In my perspective of education, mentoring is essential. It is imperative for educators to aid pupils in both their academic and personal growth, while also imparting knowledge. I will act as a mentor for my students, providing direction, assistance, and encouragement. To help students learn from one another, I will also encourage peer mentoring and collaborative learning possibilities among them. Passion: My ideology and professional practice are both motivated by my passion for teaching. As a teacher, I am expected to be knowledgeable and can transition from unit to unit rapidly and I also have the responsibility to learn and share that knowledge with my students. Pupils can develop a love of studying thanks to an enthusiastic teacher. I will infuse my lessons with energy and passion by sharing my interest in the subject matter, utilizing interactive teaching techniques, and persistently looking for professional growth and development opportunities to keep me informed and motivated. Accountability: Accountability is a fundamental principle in my professional and philosophical practices. Both teachers and students need to take responsibility for their deeds.

Perceptions on how students learn: Active participation, practical applications, and meaningful linkages to everyday experiences are the most significant ways to ensure students learn. Learning is a flexible and personal process. Student Motivation Beliefs: Students are
inspired to learn when they can relate their learning to real-world situations, encouraged to pursue their interests, and given positive criticism and credit for their efforts (Amerstorfer, 2021). Best teaching practices convictions: Effective teaching entails establishing a growth mentality, building an inclusive and exciting learning environment, and utilizing a variety of instructional tactics. Beliefs Regarding Evaluation: Fairness, openness, and alignment with learning objectives should all characterize assessment. Both teachers and students should receive insightful feedback, which will help inform instructional choices and foster student development. I want to give my students an educational experience that is meaningful and transformative while also continuing to develop as a teacher by incorporating these values and beliefs into my personal philosophy and professional practice.
