Observed an occupational therapist conduct a kitchen activitys with a patient, focusing on fine motor skills and safety in the kitchen. 2. Worked with a patient on hand exercises to improve dexterity and grip strength. 3. Attended an individual patient session with an occupational therapist, observing the use of adaptive equipment to improve independence in daily living tasks. 4. Assisted with a group therapy session, utilizing music and movement to improve coordination and socialization skills. Observations: 1. The occupational therapist emphasized safety throughout all activities, particularly when using equipment or tools that may pose a risk. 2. The patient's goals and progress were consistently monitored and evaluated, with adjustments to treatment plans as needed. 3. The use of adaptive equipment greatly improved the patient's ability to perform daily living tasks and increased their overall independence. 4. The occupational therapist provided clear instructions and encouragement to the patient throughout each activity, fostering a positive and supportive environment. 5. Group therapy sessions offered patients the opportunity to socialize and support each other, promoting a sense of community and motivation. 1
