Identify the different levels of translational research. Explain how translational research is different from evidence-based practice and discuss application to population health management. Translational research is a term that refers to the process of turning fundamental research findings into practical applications that improve human health and patient well-being (Khoury, et al., 2018). There are many degrees of translational research, including fundamental to clinical, clinical to population, and population to clinical. The changes from basic to population-based, patient-oriented to population- based, and basic to population-based are all represented by both levels. Evidence-based practice is the actual application of evidence in practice. Although evidence-based healthcare is becoming more popular throughout the world, it is still complex, misunderstood, and often derided. It has an impact on healthcare practice across the board, regardless of the sort of evidence accessible to practitioners such as: numerical, qualitative, or anecdotal, or the focus, feasibility, appropriateness, meaningfulness, or efficacy (Khoury, et al., 2018). Whereas translation research is the study of how treatments are implemented, as well as the characteristics and contextual variables that influence knowledge uptake and use in practices and communities (Khoury, et al., 2018). The health of entire populations is critical to the progress of medical care and research, in which it plays a role in improving clinical treatment of groups, resulting in improved patient outcomes and cheaper service delivery costs. Chronic care management (CCM) for diabetic patients with problems and a transportation system for patients who skip appointments owing to a lack of transportation are two areas where population health is used.
