Child 1:
No dummy chain when they sleeping wrapped around their neck
I went around the children and checked so they don’t have any dummy chain around
they neck so it doesn’t strangle the child
Child 2:
SIDS
keep head and face uncovered Keep your baby’s head uncovered. Their
blanket should be tucked in no higher than their shoulders.
When the children sleeping check the children face is not covered and blanket is only
covered to their shoulder
Child 3:
the mattress clean and in good condition and flat
I check the bed is clean and make sure
child’s bed is not broken after used the bed disinfect
the bed put it to outside to dry
and if its dirty send it home to wash or was it at the centre
( depends on how many days child comes to day eg:Monday-Wednesday end of Wednesday
send it home to wash bring it on Monday when the child comes back.
Provide a positive nappy changing and toileting experiences
Child 1:
Encouraging positive talk, singing
When there is a child don’t like nappy changing I sing a song to them to distract their attention
Child 2:
Communicating with
family
Sharing ideas with parents to encourage child toilet training trying to use same routine as home and
day care so child is not confused
Eg) parent buys an undies that child picks make the comfortable
Child 3: discussing about interest
See the sign if the child is yet interested to go toilet if not don’t force the child because they will get
scared to go toilet later on.
Creating a healthy and Safe supporting environment
Child 1:
Ensuring the children has their hat and sunscreen
Before we go outside I get children put their hat and sunscreen on and singing
slip,slap,seek,slide put your sunscreen on don’t get sun burn you..
Child 2: ensuring hazardless checklist completed
Encourage the children to go around any help with dangers objects to pick around the playground
e.g. Pick a stick,rock
Child 3:
Encouraging physical play as well as healthy eating
I take the children and encourage them have lots of gross motor games such ask riding an bike,
running, kicking
Developing relationships with babies and toddlers
Child 1:
Positive Interaction and get children more in play experiences
Involve in their play
Child 2:
Communicating in an age appropriate level
Using the words that age group can understand be clear and keep simple and short communication
Child 3:

uild a good relationship with the children’s parents
So child can have a trusting relationships
Developing relationships with Families
Child 1:
Informing positive feedback
When pick up tie talk to parent about their child and when you talking to parent give them positive
feed back eg: Yousef was doing really good day today he loved playing with blocks making an house
Child 2:
Showing childrens work
End of the day when the parent picks their child show them what they did on the day eg: art and
craft painting
Child 3:
Interacting with families
Greeting them in the morning talking about their children morning how it went before they came
centre
Eg: if something happen that upset the child in the morning so we know if the child is upset when
they come from home
