H ow artificial intelligence has shaped the healthcare industry in the past few decades? Introduction Background :  Impacting the healthcare sector positively by performing tasks independently.  Work through diverse machines and tools.  Efficient in governing work, maintaining standards of work and imparting advanced technological services. Thesis statement : Artificial Intelligence has become revolutionary in the healthcare industry in the past few decades through Robotic assistance, managing administrative tasks, and image-based diagnosis. Robotic Assistance Surgeries with more precision, control and flexibility in assistance to the surgeons.  Robots are operated by doctors to control the movements.  Uses recorded medical data of the patient  Minimally invasive surgeries aiding quick recovery. o For the first time, the use of a surgical robot Da Vinci was done which enables doctors to perform procedures with greater control than other methods (Marr, 2018, para. 2). o The procedure of surgery with the use of AI-based robots aids faster recovery with minimal sutures causing less pain and is proving beneficial for overall health.
