Week Three Assignment: The Functions and Features of the EHR
As a practice manager, it is crucial to make sure that the workflow processes of an entire
office are conducted as seamlessly as possible. With that said, all positions within the practice
should be able to work well together. Conducting work on different programs can make this
difficult to happen, however finding an EHR that can connect the processes of the different
section within the office can be proved beneficial. There are many different EHR’s that are on
the market commercially. When selecting an EHR it is essential to consider the features that
most efficient to a practice. Here are some functions and features of a few commercial EHR’s
found in the chart below.
