Week 4 Discussion Describe some of the feedback you have received about your
study skills with SAFMEDS. How has the feedback that you've
received each week strengthened your study habits?
The feedback that I have received about my SAFMEDS is that I
have basically been doing them wrong throughout my
previous four classes. I did not know the mastery criteria for
SAFMEDS was 14 accel and 0 decel, I thought it was just
having 14 accel and low number of decel. But with last week’s
class meeting, I was able to talk to professor and she was able
to answer it for me and help me understand SAFMEDS better.
This has helped me strengthen my study habits because now I
need to focus more time on my decel pile, instead of just
worrying about my accel pile, I will continue to write and
rewrite my SAFMEDS on index cards so the fluency can
continue. It has also strengthened me understanding the
precision x graph better as well. I never used an intervention
line, so figuring it out this week, really helped me see how
much I needed to work on to make the goals. I am thankful for
the feedback from our professor, because she helped me open
my eyes and helped me understand SAFMEDS more clearer.

This is a questions from the previous year's exam at my university in Engineering Science. I have submitted a solution given to us for study purposes as proof that I will not be graded on this assessment.
In this solution, the formula (2gh)1/2 is used to find the solution, but I am on familliar with Bernoulli's Principle (P=1/2pv^2+pgh), and I was not able to find a solution using this. My solution incurred an error when I found that I had two unkown variables left that I could not break down in any meaningful way. (Velocity being the desired variable, Pressure being the problematic variable). Pressure = Force x Area, but I don't know enough about the dimensions of the tank or tap to be able to understand this.
