I noticed low-level students needing help with math instruction during my small group learning center. The teacher explained that these students need additional support and often meet with the teacher for guidance while working on their worksheets. As we worked together, they seemed excited about our small group activity. We used the ten-frame bus and taught them how to use it to help them solve addition problems. Most of the small group students understood the lesson's objective, where they learned to use the ten-frame bus and worksheets
to help them solve addition problems. Most of the small group members understood the objectives, but they had difficulty explaining the answers to statements.
Teacher does whole group and than small groups. Check around the the classroom and check students who understand the math objectives and those who had a hard time understanding the math concepts that were gone over in class. After whole group and the teacher ensuring their students grasp the concept, a small group of students meet with another teacher As I took down assessment results and explained them to them with my mentor teacher,
it will be a helpful guide for my future instruction with the students, as well as my future planning and guidance. When I looked at the assessment results, I understood what my students needed to perform well in the classroom. When taking the data from the assessment, it is used to help teachers know what mat concepts need to be reviewed, as well as how the teacher will implement the instruction.
