Tiffany Newsom October 1, 2023 IT-226 5-3 Project 1 Non-Technical Audiences 1Latte Product Description The newest social media trend is on the rise with 1Latte. 1Latte is the latest platform that will help replace YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. For only $2.95 a month (which will include no advertisements), you will be allowed to create their very own, one-of-a-kind filtering software. There is also built in filtering software that the users can use. 1Latte also has a very intelligent security plan that will allow the users to delete all recorded information after every use to ensure one’s privacy. My targeted demographic is age range from 18–45-year-old adults. In accordance with the Global Internet Standards, 1Latte will start web-based and we will also start to format an app for mobile friendly users. Below is a graph of Social Platform Use that I used to determine my age range demographics and audiences. With the rapid expansion of technology, the way we view everyday things has changed immensely. From how we receive our important news, how we communicate towards others online versus in person, how we learn and study for classes has all changed within the past ten years exponentially. 1Latte will be the next generation social media where users can do everything, they enjoy in one simple application. While 1Latte will compete with other free social media companies, the advantage will be in the $2.95 service charge fee. Paying the quarterly fee will guarantee that there will not be any sponsored advertisements while using our applications.
Safety is the number one priority of 1Latte. While other platforms are constantly breached, 1Latte will require 2 step factor authentication for every login, along with passwords that are well thought out with a combination of capital and lowercase letters, special characters, and numbers. Even our messaging system will be data encrypted and will require a “key” to decode information. Keeping data encrypted is one of the most important things in cybersecurity. It is a fundamental building block of all companies and individuals worldwide. Citations: What is encryption and how important is it? - GENETEC.
