The report shows how important it is for project managers to evaluate risks. The team was able to handle technical problems during the game competition by finding and reducing possible risks. The practice run before the event helped them work out the details, showing how important it is to handle risks before they happen. The report also makes it clear how important it is to have a multimedia marketing strategy. A specialized website, social media, actual sign-ups, and the handing out of flyers were some of the methods that helped reach more people. The fact that participants came from far away shows how successful different marketing platforms can be. 2. What are one or two important questions/issues that are missing from their report that you wish were addressed? Explain why this information would be useful. The report says that the participants liked the experience, but it would be helpful to get more detailed comments from them. Questions like "What did the participants like most?" or "Were there any problems that people had during the event?" could give you information about how the participants felt. This knowledge could be very useful for making future events better fit the needs of participants. 3. Briefly discuss the value of project audits based on this example. Imagine what it would be like if you did not have the audit. The audit recognizes the importance of risk management by addressing potential challenges in advance. Specifically, it highlighted concerns about technical difficulties and player no-shows, showcasing the foresight to mitigate these risks. Without the audit, these issues might have surfaced unexpectedly during the event, potentially causing disruptions.
