QLM1: Crisis Management and Brand Recovery Strategies and Tactics Brand Recovery Strategy Template Student ID: 001474440 Date:06/8/2023 Recovery Strategy Approach I would use the apology and admission approach. By apologizing and admitting wrong doings the company seems more human in that everyone makes mistakes. Admitting and then apologizing allows the company to take responsibility for its actions showing accountability and transparency. Consumers’ Potential Reaction Analysis Consumers could react positively to the apology and admission approach. They will likely appreciate the company's honesty and accountability in admitting the mistake. The approach can help rebuild trust and mitigate negative sentiment by showing empathy towards affected consumers. The consumer will expect some type of policy or plan in place to prevent occurrences from further happening. Overall, the apology and admission approach has the potential to generate a more understanding and forgiving response from consumers. Research Technique A quantitative research technique that can be used to measure the recovery strategy effectiveness is a survey. Conducting a survey among the target consumer group allows for gathering quantitative data on consumer perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors related to the brand and the crisis. The survey can include questions that assess the level of awareness of the recovery strategy, the extent to which consumers find the strategy effective in addressing their concerns, and their intention to continue purchasing from the brand. By analyzing the survey responses, quantitative insights can be obtained to measure the impact and effectiveness of the recovery strategy. PAGE 1
