2 Historical discounts and promotional gifts be part of marketing Campaigns: How promotional gifts are increasing sales in the market campaigns. In today's marketing campaigns, promotional gifts, also known as promotional products or giveaways are the significant key as they help to boost sales. These goods or services mostly come with their brand name, logo, and slogan before reaching customers, providing high-quality promotional gifts helps to create a positive impact on consumers and increases the chances of being chosen over other products. To sum up, promotional gifts promote brand awareness and client engagement, all these factors help to boost sales and increase companies' capital, by studying these behaviors companies make more customer-oriented approaches. SECTION 1: The impact of promotional gifts on consumer behavior Topic Sentence: The use of promotional gifts in market campaigns increases brand awareness and enhances brand recall among consumers overall increasing the brand value and sales of the company. According to a survey conducted by BPMA in 2012 on around 15,000 customers which suggested that “ 66% of participants claimed they could recall the brand on the promotional product received within the past 12 months”. ( The Power of Promotional Products for Brand Recognition , n.d.) It can be challenging to select the right plan or idea for selecting the ideal promotion gift strategy for the company as “Promotional gifts also offer a tangible reminder of your brand that can have a long-lasting impact. Unlike other forms of advertising, such as digital ads or billboards, promotional gifts are something that people can physically hold onto and use in their daily lives.” (2023)
3 SECTION 2: Strategies to maximize the effectiveness of promotional gifts. Topic Sentence: Selection of appropriate promotional gifts according to the customer's needs and interests to ensure the importance and relevant product engagement. Customer engagement can be improved by selecting the right gifts that align with the interests of the target audience and when “customer continuously sees the gift with your logo frequently, it will be engraved in their brains, which in marketing we call it brand recall . A promotional gift for customers that they keep in their homes and offices will create an imprint of your brand on their minds. If they get a branded promotional gift, then the impact would be stronger.” (Kuo, 2022) “A clear and compelling message can help capture the attention of potential customers and increase the likelihood of conversion” (Bondarenko & Vyshnivska, 2023) There are several ways in which a target audience can be selected for example, Psychographic segmentation, Behavioral segmentation, and Firmographic segmentation “Research suggests that thoroughly preparing a market strategy, which includes identifying a target market, could lead to marketing success. For example, one study conducted by CoSchedule found that marketers who documented their strategy were 414 percent more likely to report success than those who didn’t [ 1 ]. A comprehensive understanding of a target market could help businesses meet their overall marketing objectives.” (2023)
