A1. I will recommend using the quality of Hire Metric. A1a.The quality of hire score will be calculated by taking the job performance score and the ramp up time score that will be provided by the manager. The next step consists of taking the new hire engagement score, from the new hire survey, along with the cultural fit score, and adding all the scores together. We will then take the sum of the total scores and divide it by 4. This will result in the quality of value score. Metric formula example: (job performance score + ramp up score + engagement score + cultural fit score)/ Number of factors= quality of hire A1b. Using the Quality of Hire Metric will be beneficial for the company for several important reasons. This metric will help companies assess whether the recruits or potential employees will add value to the company once they are on board. The quality of hire method will provide a useful guide to make informed decisions. The quality of hire method can provide insight into the effectiveness of other recruitment methods so companies can identify which approach will lead to better hires. A1c. 1. Focus on quality of hire to reduce turnover rates. 2. Obtain a Quality-of-Hire Score of 85% in the next group pf recruits. A2. Internal Email A2a. Using the Internal Email method will provide reduced hiring time, because we are selecting candidates that are already part of the organization. Existing employees are already familiar with company policies, which reduces the time and costs needed for orientation and training. This method is cost effective and time effective as there are new costs for posting the job opening this way. A3. Social Media A3a. Social media platforms provide increased job visibility that allows the company to reach a wider audience of potential candidates. Social networking sites allow you to connect with a diverse pool of talent that will include high quality candidates. Social media postings are cost effective because this method is typically more affordable than posting on job boards or a published advertising.
B. Job Overview Summary : Pruhart Tech is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the position of Senior Programmer. Our growing company is looking for interested individuals that want to become a part of the Pruhart team. As a senior programmer you will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining software solutions that that will drive the advancements of the company. The senior programmer will be responsible for leading projects and overseeing a team of current computer programmers and ensure efficient operations. This role will require designing software solutions, writing and updating code, as well as managing several operating systems. Additionally, the senior programmer will have the opportunity to work remotely with a flexible schedule.
