How does a company’s code of ethics relate to the service it gives customers? Companies want to be considered trustworthy by their customers. 3. Why is effective teamwork considered so important in organizations? Every team member is working toward the success of the organization. 4. Are employees who believe they need to only do what is outlined in their job descriptions effective workers? Why or why not? They are not effective workers because they wouldn’t be reliable. 5. Think about the work you do for your school classes. Are there times or places when/where you are more productive than others? Explain. I am personally more productive in the evenings when I am alone. I am not too sure why this is but I get a lot done in this time frame. 6. What types of information, such as news reports or weather forecasts, do you regularly find online? I generally find information about the medical field as well as crime reports. These topics are most popular. 7. What is one employment competency that you want to acquire as you complete this course? An employment competency that I would like to acquire is public speaking tools. 8. What would happen in a company if many people acted dishonestly? If people acted dishonestly within a company, they would lose the trust of consumers and suffer in more ways than one.
9. How might showing a lack of self-confidence at work affect how others treat you? They may treat you inferior or assume that you do not know what you’re doing. 10. What is one personality trait that you would like to charge or improve? A personality trait that I would like to improve is my shyness so that I exude confidence.
