Introduction
A person uses his knowledge, or skills, to achieve his goals and realize his aspirations. Domain-
general and domain-specific abilities are the two categories under which skills fall. If a person is
trustworthy, it means he can be trusted in any situation, including at home with his family or at
work with his coworkers. Domain generic abilities are a part of a person's personality and are not
applicable to any specific domain, for example. Conversely, if a person has good mathematical
skills and the ability to execute any calculations and address any mathematical problem, they are
said to have a sharp skill for computations. (Dolosic et al., 2016) This skill is a natural result of
having a sharp intellect, but it can only be used when calculations are required, making it a
domain-specific rather than a broad skill. A person's performance is a function of both their
domain-general and domain-specific talents. The categories of skills and their evaluation are
described in this study.
Task 1
1.1 Assessment of own strengths and weakness
How can a person learn about his capabilities and what he can do? As it was stated earlier, a
person's performance is a result of his skills. Only when one evaluates oneself is this possible.
He can clearly define his goals and succeed in achieving them by identifying his talents and
weaknesses. (Ratminingsih et al., 2018)
Personal Skills:
Personal skills are domain-general, which means that they may be used to any context. These traits are believed to be a part of human nature; for example, being honest indicates that a person's nature includes honesty. This does not, however, prevent the development of this gift. Personal talents can be improved and enhanced with the urge to need (Cuado and Abocejo, 2019).

Prioritization
I occasionally neglected to prioritize my duties, failing to recognize what
came first and what needed to be given more importance. This made managing chores and large projects challenging.
Academic skills:
The domain-specific abilities that are relevant to the subject matter are called academic skills.
These are the specialists that higher education develops, together with the skills necessary for
higher education. Research and writing abilities are important academic skills for higher
education because gathering data is a crucial component of higher education, which is concerned
with research ability. Once the data has been gathered, it must then be presented with no
plagiarism and high-quality language, which is concerned with writing ability. The following are
some academic talents that I evaluated (McGrew et al., 2018).

Calculations are difficult for me in higher education because I've never enjoyed arithmetic.
Academic English Language skills: The foundation of a person's impression nowadays is language. Based on a person's
communication style, vocabulary, fluency, tone, confidence, and language, specifically English
language, qualifications and talent are valued. Since it is the basis for hiring and creating
additional impressions of a person's personality, formal presentations and meetings are held in
academies to improve English language proficiency. (Mallia, 2017)

I enjoy reading advanced-language books, articles, and other materials while using a dictionary side by side to pick up new terminology.

I am skilled at using complex terminology that I have learned from reading and using dictionaries when I write articles.

1.2 Evaluating self-improvement targets
Setting targets for self-improvement by SMART Strengths and weaknesses of the skills are determined by self-evaluation. Lack should be avoided
and strengths should be utilized more effectively. Finding steps and goals to accomplish within a
certain time frame is necessary to eliminate these shortcomings and strengthen those limitations.

2.1 Describe the process of conducting primary research from various sources
In higher studies and establishing up a major branded firm, research plays a significant part. The
primary research and secondary research are the two categories of research. Primary research
focuses on research and includes collecting information indirectly from the general audience.

messaging, face-to-face and telephone surveys, among others. Interviews employ a variety of
techniques, both planned and unplanned. Primary Data: The information acquired as a result of primary research is known as primary data. This kind of
information is the most plain-speaking and direct. In addition to surveys, primary data can also
be gathered by keeping an eye on the afflicted population or the target market. Concentrating on
a particular group is another method for gathering primary data. Questions are presented to this
group of subject specialists. For instance, if a company is introducing a new product, it will first
gauge consumer opinion and their propensity to buy it. Similarly, if a researcher is formulating
his or her thesis, he or she will use primary research to collect precise data and uncover the
answers to any open-ended questions.. (Holtrop et al., 2018)
2.2 Sketch the secondary research process from different sources
Secondary research is the first step of research in which data is collected from available sources.
This study, usually referred to as desk research, focuses on prior projects and reports. Data that
already exists is gathered, arranged, condensed, and rephrased. It requires abilities in reading,
writing, and searching. (Tate and Ellram, 2016)
Secondary Data: Secondary research is used to gather secondary data. This is comparable to the researcher's pre-
exam homework. It utilizes the already-existing and accessible data. For instance, if a business
wants to introduce a new product, it will research the area, locals, trends, and rivals using the
internet, databases, newspapers, or other contacts. (Johnston, 2017)

reading strategies.
Using my research skills I decided to write the crux of the topic “Water Cycle” which is as
follow
The topic of where the water we use originates from is an important one. The water cycle
offers the solution. Water continuously changes states, going from a solid to a liquid to a
gas and back to a solid or liquid.
The sun's heat causes ice caps and glaciers to melt, and the resulting water begins to flow
as streams that join lakes and rivers before eventually falling into the oceans. Most of our
pipes connect to seas, where filtered water is sent to our homes and faucets.
Note making skills through Reading
Effective grading is a crucial task at the institution. You need reliable recording and retrieval procedures because you have a lot of recent information. However, taking notes is also a learning activity in and of itself, which aids in your ability to comprehend and assimilate the information you are given.

Active listening entails more than just nodding off in class! Active listening entails paying close attention to the information delivered, selecting the most important details you will need to know, and participating intellectually in the ideas and concepts being discussed.
3.2 Paraphrase and summarize the information

The transformation of water forms from solid to liquid, then into gas, and back into solid or
liquid is known as the water cycle. Water forms when ice melts. The result is the creation of
water vapors. Although we continue to use the water that never runs out as these vapors
collected, became heavy, and fell as rain or snow, there is a chance of a water shortage in the

Introduction: This part introduces the concept of the research question, the academic
field that it relates to, and its scope of observation of consumer preference and trend
toward a newly launched product—light creamy biscuits by Dream Company.
Objectives of the research and aims: Before implementation, the goal should be clearly
stated so that researchers are aware of the purpose of the study. In order to satisfy its
clients and make money, market research leads Dream Company to have high
expectations and a keen interest in light, creamy biscuits.
Surveys focus groups and questionnaires: Focus groups, surveys, and observations
serve as the key data collection methods. The audience will be given a pre-designed
questionnaire, and feedback will be gathered.
Literature review and analysis: Following the revision and refinement of primary data
using the perspective of the literature, excellent reports are produced.
