2 Case 10.2 Zappos gives managers the boot 1. Do you think the self - managed team approach at Zappos helps employees become more innovative in their new roles? Explain. Understanding the self management system perspective is a series of challenges. First, the option to assign roles within the operating procedure can lead to a disproportionate distribution of responsibilities. It goes without saying that a large number of workers work alike, while some important issues are incomplete. Second, the concept of equality among workers' members is difficult to implement due to its unnatural character. In the eyes of the leaders within the unit, the inevitable result of any activity is a nursing associate. Therefore, many workers weigh the positions that are appropriate to fulfill the dominant task of managers, even if there is a shortage of job titles. Furthermore, the absence of a hierarchical structure does not relieve the company of its obligation to address structural issues such as payroll and staffing. It does not matter from the point of view of the holocaust, however, these matters must be resolved, the department will be responsible for such a problem. Therefore, the most negative aspect of the holocaust strategy is that too much independent interpretation of responsibility - the lack of UN agency managers responsible for decision- making - negatively in the classification of company results. ( StudyCorgi. 2022) 2. If you were Zappos CEO, how would you respond to critics who say people have little or no incentive to stay with the company because there is no opportunity for advancement? As CEO of Zappos, I will not implement Holocaust. From my point of view, the possibility of working in a very holographic organization does not seem attractive. One may experience confusion and anxiety if the circumstances and thus the conditions of the work area unit are not clear. Lack of concrete tasks and goals can force a worker to spend most of his or her time designing and selecting goals rather than performing tasks. In addition, the lack of standards other than observation of results may make the development process impossible because workers cannot allow a proper assessment of the outcome of their activity nor can they consult higher authorities. ( Robbins. Et al. 2015)
2 3. If you were a manager at Zappos, would you have taken the offer to leave the company? Why or why not? I would prefer to leave the company because the self-government has created a bit of a mess, some workers told reporters they are not sure how to do it now. The New York Times reported last year that payroll managers, for example, were having difficulty determining salaries after titles were removed, with some employees wanting to consult with the boss when making important decisions. (Burakova. A. 2021) The prospect of working in a Holocaust organization does not seem attractive. If the conditions of the workplace are not clear, one can face confusion and anxiety. Lack of real work The goals of an associate in nursing can force a worker to spend more time on crafts and guidance than on their own work of art. In addition, the lack of standards other than observation of results may make the development process impossible because workers will not be able to properly estimate the final outcome of their activity nor be willing to consult with higher authorities.
