1. Introduction: Overview of the leadership journey
The leadership journey entails self-discovery, innovation, and the production of significant results (McKinsey & Company. 2022).
My path to leadership as a student started with modest displays of initiative and accountability.
I improved my communication abilities over time by working on projects with others and
participating actively in extracurricular activities.
This experience has prepared me for leadership roles in the future by teaching me the importance of teamwork, empathy, and adaptability.
The main elements of this journey—from learning and creating to implementing—will be discussed in this presentation, along with any gaps or potential enhancements to the leadership development strategy.
2. Life Design Phases Integration: Discover phase
For self-discovery, the Discover phase of the Life Design process is crucial.
It entails examining one's values, interests, and strengths in order to lay the foundation for a more fulfilling life.
People gain an understanding of their identities and desires through self-reflection, the exploration of their passions, and strength assessments.
This phase includes defining values and establishing preliminary goals. People can learn new things and try new things by conducting research and experiments. Directing the Dream, Invent, and Deliver phases of Life Design, this phase lays the groundwork for wise life decisions.

Leadership development is closely related to the Invent phase of the Life Design phase integration (LDI).

Life Design and Leadership Development Plan
In order to develop leadership skills and create a life centered around effective leadership,
people use the self-awareness and insights gained during the Discover phase in this phase.
It involves establishing leadership objectives, pinpointing one's leadership aptitudes, and looking into potential leadership positions.
People create a unique leadership path that is in line with their values and life's purpose through strategic planning and skill development. The development of distinctive and effective leadership
philosophies that can favorably affect both the personal and professional spheres is encouraged during this phase.
4. Life Design Phases Integration: Deliver phase
The relationship between leadership development and delivery becomes clear in the life design phase integration phase called to deliver.
This phase is focused on carrying out plans and achieving personal and professional objectives.
To lead with purpose and impact, people use their self-awareness and earlier phase skills.
It involves putting strategic plans into action, managing resources well, and overcoming obstacles with resiliency—skills essential to effective leadership.
In line with the fundamental tenets of leadership, the Deliver phase places a strong emphasis on accountability and results. Through consistent action and ongoing development, people can not only mold their ideal lives but also cultivate and show leadership qualities, having a significant impact on both their personal and professional spheres.
5. Leadership development plan (LDI)
The purpose of a Leadership Development Plan (LDI) is to improve a person's leadership
skills (
Stawiski, & McCauley, 2023
).
It typically includes ongoing evaluation, goal setting, skill development, and self-
evaluation.
Life Design and Leadership Development Plan
It is possible to define own set of leadership strengths and weaknesses in this plan, set clear leadership goals, and outline practical ways to achieve those goals.
Formal education, mentoring, networking, and practical leadership experiences may all be part of it.
Progress is guaranteed by ongoing assessment and modification. An LDI promotes personal development by giving participants the knowledge, abilities, and traits they need to lead successfully, motivate groups, and effect positive change in a variety of contexts, including the workplace, the community, and their own lives.
5. Leadership Development Plan: Possible gaps in the leadership development plan
Lack of self-awareness about one's current leadership abilities, ambiguous or unattainable
goals, and a lack of ongoing feedback and evaluation are all potential weaknesses in a leadership development plan (LDP).
These weaknesses may make it harder for the plan to develop capable leaders.
6. Leadership Development Plan: Possible improvements over the leadership development
plan
There are several ways to improve a Leadership Development Plan (LDP).
First and foremost, goals are kept relevant by routinely being reviewed and modified in light of changing needs and feedback.
A complete perspective is offered by including 360-degree feedback from peers, subordinates, and superiors.
Another way to develop a well-rounded development strategy is to provide a blend of formal training, mentoring, coaching, and real-world leadership experiences. The final thing that encourages people to stick with their LDP is tracking their progress and marking accomplishments.

Significant skill development is possible in just 20 hours, especially when using focused and effective techniques.
Setting clear objectives, breaking the skill down into manageable subskills, and practicing regularly is necessary to demonstrate impressive progress and proficiency.
Learning can be hastened by utilizing online tutorials, professional advice, and purposeful practice.
Regular self-evaluation and peer feedback can promote improvement. A growth mindset, commitment, and efficient time management are essential for demonstrating remarkable proficiency and mastering a skill quickly

9. Reflection Using HIHF Framework: Powerful reflection of the entire Life Design and
Leadership Development Process using the HIHF framework
The HIHF framework has been crucial to my progress through the Life Design and Leadership Development process.
With the benefit of hindsight, I was able to consider earlier events and recognize how they affected my goals.
I was able to clarify my values, talents, and leadership potential due to insight. I was able to set meaningful goals and develop a unique plan due to my foresight.
By utilizing these realizations, I've evolved into a more self-aware, purpose-driven leader who is prepared to successfully navigate the future.

10. Reflection Using HIHF Framework: Areas for improvement required in life design and
development process in utilizing the HIHF framework.
There are areas where improvement is required in my journey using the HIHF framework
for Life Design and Leadership Development.
In hindsight, more organized reflection techniques could be used to glean deeper meaning
from the experiences that have already occurred.
For Insight to effectively uncover hidden strengths and values, it may be necessary to use additional resources or advice.
Stronger goal-setting techniques and contingency plans for dealing with unforeseen difficulties could improve foresight.
Overall, improving these elements will maximize the framework's impact on how my life and leadership journey are shaped by it.
