Personal Character Characteristics
What separates a person that goes far in life from one who does not? More specifically, what is the
character trait that makes the difference? The simple answer to that is motivation. I chose motivation
because I think it is something that I show. Motivation is a good word to describe me because I am
motivated in several aspects of life such as: school, extracurricular activities and community
involvement. My personal definition of motivation is, the force that makes someone want to go
above and beyond what is asked of them. To begin with, one of the areas in which I show motivation
in is in my education. People who are motivated typically do well in school. They get their work
done and make high grades. I show this by doing well in school. I make all A's and do my
homework on time, and I also take part in school events and try to go above and beyond when it
comes to the quality of my work. Another aspect of education includes college
. College is even
more important than high school because it defines where most people will likely go in life. High
School students who try to get an advantage on others by taking dual credit courses usually show
that they possess the motivation to do well in college. This applies to me because I take dual credit
courses such as Senior English and Honors Calculus. When it comes to applying for scholarships
and colleges, one must be motivated. It proves that I am motivated because I have applied for
several scholarships and I have applied to

Human Personality Essay
A quote that I live by is, "People don't always behave the way you want them to, but it doesn't mean
the way they behave is wrong." This says to me that I cannot change anyone because I do not
understand or like the way someone does something. Trying to do this is trying to change one's
human personality. Human personality is what makes a person distinctive, unique, and exceptional.
Every person has a different personality and some personalities mesh better than others. Human
personality should always be praised and no one should ever put anyone down for having a different
personality. It is truly just allowing people to be who they are unless they are in violation of other
human's rights. Just as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Any

Examples of laws like this would be: wearing a seat belt, the possession of guns, the right to
abortion, and the ability to buy alcohol on Sundays. These types of laws are there because someone
else says that it is wrong to do these things. Trying to prevent supposedly wrong things from
happening seems like good intent but is actually unjust. An example of this is seat belt laws that try
to prevent anyone from getting seriously hurt in the event of a car accident. But if the driver or their
passengers do not want to buckle up why should the law force them. It may seem strange for some
people to not want to wear their seat belt but it is just because they have a different personality. The
only just laws are the ones that punish those that actually degrade someone's human personality.
Rape, murder, robbery, and fraud are all examples of this. When someone rapes another they are
taking away their free will to do whatever they choose. And those who commit that crime should be
punished. But to create laws to prevent rapes from occurring is unjust. These types of laws assume
that people will do wrong and that their human personality is wrong. People have the right to do
whatever they please whether it is moral or not and they deserve the consequences of their actions.
In conclusion, human personality is the essential character of a human being. It is not clear what
uplifts and what degrades human personality because it is human nature to

guidance.
2. Think about what this person is like. What personal characteristics do they possess? Focus on
specific characteristics that are helpful to you. Describe these on a sheet of paper.
My mother is very intelligent, understanding and patient. She does not judge what I say and gives
her best advice using her own personal experiences and things she has learned. She is very caring
and empathic, but can also be assertive when something is not right. I trust that my mother always
wants the best for me, making it easy to talk to her.

Characteristics Of Myself Essay
We, as human beings, have many characteristics and traits that we view of our self positively;
however, some traits do change due to our insecurity of other individual judgments which may lead
to the outcome of others viewing us differently. This report will briefly explain the way I see myself
portray to the society and how other majority individuals see the individual I truly am.
The qualities I consider that I do not have for my personality is I am not creative, confident,
compulsive, curious, humorous and selfish. This shows that I am an individual who is selfless or
inquisitive. Although, I am not confident nor am I compulsive or humorous this demonstrates I am
introverted from the society and would like to be hidden in the dark when it comes to presentations
or meeting new strangers. I am not proud of this since I realized I care way too much about what
others have their opinions on me. If I were confident and cared less about what others thought about
me, I would have the traits as compulsive, confident, humorous and much more. In addition, this is
one of the reasons why others think I am shy at times due to my lack of confidence
. Therefore, I do
have to work on putting myself out there to the society which will slowly happen.
I believe that I am friendly, kind, reliable, hardworking, punctual, and ambitious. Ever since I was a
child, my parents brought good manners and positive moral teachings into me. One of the lessons
they taught and I must obey is that I

I am a consulting council member for Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG). The last two years, I have
consulted on Highway Lighting retro–fits and Weather Station deployments. I am an active member
of the Olympia Beekeepers Association and earned my apprenticeship certification. Working toward
a journeyman status, on a Pollinator Awareness project, my outreach group and I established contact
and negotiated the installation of bee hives at the Olympia Airport. We installed two hives and have
since maintained them. Current collaborative effort is advertising and auctioning our honey, and
proceeds are being donated in support of SafePlace, a local woman's shelter. On another outreach
front, I developed and facilitated a Pollinator Awareness briefing for the Squaxin Island Tribe's
Community Garden team and communication continues.

An individual's effectiveness in the workplace often depends on his/her personality, attitudes and
values, along with his/her motivation to succeed. Concurrently, the perception, attitudes and values
of colleagues in the workplace play a role in determining the individual's effectiveness.
Understanding these characteristics of employees can be very crucial for organizations to operate
successfully. At the same time, it is essential that employees understand the values associated with
the organization in order to avoid any conflicting feelings toward the work they are employed to do.
By recognizing and appreciating each other's characteristics and constraints, employees and the

In recent years, I have realized that my father portrays similar characteristics; he is strong, fast–
paced, always wants his way and gets frustrated if he cannot achieve his goals, but still understands
others' emotions and tries to make up for his mistakes. However, I realized that such personality
traits are not ideal in this, and over the past few years, I have taken to aggressively pursuing my
goals, despite being pushed for time. I still do get frustrated when I do not achieve my goals, but I
do not worry about how others' view me and thus, have lost a bit of the ability to sense others'
emotions and feelings. In more general terms, I believe that heredity has definitely played an
important role in providing me with strength and aggressiveness to pursue my goals, and influencing
my reflexes, energy level and biological rhythm. However, concurrently, many aspects of my
personality have been moulded through my own experience and my need to achieve what I aim for.
Dominant Personality Traits. From a very young age, I have developed a personality which is

Personal Essay : My Personal Qualities
My Personal Qualities
Over the course, I have learned that all people are unique and have their own personal traits and
qualities. One person does not just simply fall into one category, but various categories. What is
beautiful about all of us is that we all have diverse personalities, traits and qualities. I have learned
that we should be proud of and embrace these unique qualities of ours.
As a perfectionist, I like to present my things beautifully and creatively, and it is clearly seen on my
collage. I appreciate beautiful things and this is why I got beauty/aesthetics as one of my highest
totals on the values survey. On my collage, I put a picture of a microscope, with the circular flask
and test tubes. I also

and put a smile on their faces. Even when someone is being rude, I try to "kill them with kindness"
in return. I used the quote: "Beauty isn't about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind,
a pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul". I chose to use this quote because I adore it
and I go by it. What matters most is in the inside, not on the outside. I think people sometimes, even
me, get too caught up and try too hard to look beautiful, but they don't focus on personality.
A) I expected to get artistic, creative and investigative as my results on surveys that I took, because I
already knew I had these traits as a part of my personality. However, the results from my learning
styles survey were a little surprising to me. I got visual as my highest total score, while kinesthetic
and auditory were almost balanced out scores. The reason why I was a little surprised was that last
year, I took a survey to figure out my learning style, and I got both auditory and visual learner. The
results have their little differences, but that shows people do change over time. Learning styles can
be learned and strengthened.
I learned plenty of things from my results. My values–which I didn't see clearly–are now clear, and I
found out the little unique things that make up my personality. From my personality survey, I am
mostly artistic,

My Characteristics Of Myself
"Normality is a paved road. It's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it." – Van Gogh
Multiple characteristics of myself that have throughout my life have shaped me into the person that I
am today. One of them is my intelligence which, while not on some ridiculously high level, is
something that I have grown to value as I considered myself a person of great perception, being a
young man who appreciates logic and mathematical thinking, possesses a desire to look for the
hidden truth behind webs of contradictions/inconsistencies, love analyzing details and piecing
together information, as well as using creativity to solve problems and puzzles. Another trait of mine
that is the main focus of this essay is none other my eccentricity, which may be correlated to my
intelligence.
I'm what some have labeled me as a "weirdo", which I've learned has both positive and negative
connotations, and usually the negative connotation applied to me. I'm an introverted and quiet
person who, although doesn't mind socializing a bit from time to time with people that I'm
comfortable with, prefers to be by himself and do his own thing. When I am interacting with others,
which is not a usual thing, I come off as awkward and uncomfortable. Even by my loneself I'm still
perform eccentric habits and quirky movements. Always bottling up my complex emotions and deep
thoughts, I've faced hardships in expressing them to others in a way that can being understood. The
only situation where I feel like I can truly express myself to others is through texting, in other words
not face–to–face (I'm a textrovert). In addition, I'm what I considered myself as a nefelibata, a term
most people don't know the meaning of: a cloud walker or one who lives in the cloud of their own
imagination or dreams. My mind spend most of its time wandering around in the land of . not
abiding by the precepts of society. In fact, regardless of how I depict myself to others, anyone who
observe my actions can see the truth as plain as day; I'm nothing more than an unconventional,
unorthodox person. Of course, not everyone would like an outlandish person such as myself, and
soon did I also dislike a part of myself.
The notion that I was something bizarre and

Descriptive Essay About Personality
1.Descriptive Essay Nothing But Personality It was my first day at the school, I got into the building
where I was going to live. My eyes searched carefully from the door of one bedroom to that of
another for my name which ought to have been pasted on the door of one of these bedrooms. At last
I found it. On stepping into the bedroom I found there was already a student who was making her
bed, She was thin, short and black–skinned. Her hair looked like a bundle of straw. Her dirty clothes
and lusterless eyes clearly indicated that she had a long journey. Her clothes were made of cheap
cloth. Her coat was too short, and the legs of her trousers were too loose. She wore a pair of
unfashionable rubber shoes. And all her looks made me feel that she did not look like a smart girl.
"A yokel," I concluded. The second she spoke, her accent told me that she was from the south. "May
I help you get your luggage from the office?" I did not decline her help because I really needed it.
She was quick in movement. She walked out of the room and was soon far ahead of me in the
corridor. "A nice girl," I said to myself. "I will make friends with her." I hurried and caught up with
her. Sometimes outlook does not mean anything about personality. 2.Original Poem I Hear The War

I've always thought of myself as having certain personality characteristics and traits, that have
stayed the same as I have grown as a person. I consider myself to be extroverted, because I enjoy
being around people and making friends. I consider myself to be optimistic, because I tend to look
for the "silver lining" when life throw curveballs. I also think of myself as someone that thinks
outside–of–the–box, because I think there can be less obvious explanations to questions, especially
when it comes to dealing with other people, since people are so different. I wasn't surprised that I
scored high in extroversion. I enjoy being around people, participating in activities with people, and
I'm comfortable meeting new people. For as long as I can remember, I was always told that I've
"never met a stranger". This is true. I tend to talk to people in line at the store, or when I go to a
friend's house and meet someone new. I like people. I like to meet a lot of different types of people. I
was surprised that I only scored a 70 in emotional stability. I usually have a strong grasp on my
emotional facilities, and tend to think about a situation before having a strong emotional reaction.
However, the past few weeks have been very stressful, and I believe that when I answered the
questions, I was basing the answers on how I have currently been feeling, compared to how I
normally feel. I scored 87 in agreeableness. This wasn't a surprise. I am a very optimistic and

Based on the stages of human development, I am currently in my early adulthood phase. I describe
myself as sincere, hardworking, and independent women. I also consider myself very brave and
rebellious because I moved to the United States by myself after high school. I chose to move out of
my family because I wanted to be a changemaker. In terms of my personal life, I am emotionally
very strong, and I bring a cheerleading vibe when I see people feeling very down or upset. On the
other hand, I am a very serious and focused person in my professional life. Furthermore, my friends
describe me as a reliable, friendly, strong, and matured person. While, in a work setting my
colleagues describe me as determined, ambitious, and wise.
For this assignment, I took the Myers–Briggs test. I was very much satisfied with the results.
According to the assessment, I have a ENFJ type of personality. It is believed that around two to five
percent of all the population have this type of personality. Furthermore, this personality is
considered as warm, outgoing, loyal, and sensitive. The first letter E resembles the extraversion
character. This means that we have an outgoing personality and like to spend time with people. The
next letter I is about intuition, and this means that we like to think about future rather than present.

Personal Characteristics Essay
There are many personal characteristics that can affect a person as an individual and his professional
success, namely openness, ability to learn and adapt etc. These personal characteristics can
sometimes make a person successful and sometimes doesn't. As I spend more and more time as a
professional, I perceive that there are few characteristics that are essential for professional success:
namely ambitious, creative and adaptable. These characteristics come out in many different ways.
Have you set your goals? Have you decided the path you have to take to pursue your goal? What are
the sacrifices you can do to achieve your ambition? How much can you think out of the box to
resolve a particular issue or bring new idea to the table? How

This characteristic will motivate me to grow better in my future career as well. I believe that few
people have a strong inner feeling that pushes them to think out of the box to identify as issue and
find the solution. Personally, I always try to find the most creative solution and do not give up until I
get it. Sometime this energy is contagious on to next. I always search for the missing links and fine–
tune my thoughts until I reach a point that works. This creativity has steadily driven my ambitions
through the organization. Today the world is changing so rapidly and the way it has changed in last
few decades, it hasn't changed in last few hundred years. So adaptability has become the need of the
hour. I believe that adaptability is the most important quality of all, particularly if one is in
technology industry. There have been times when this adaptability has changed the nomenclature of
day and night but it has also given me rewards at the appropriate times. Adaptability, personally, has
created a far–reaching international outlook and I was able to spend time, living outside my country
of origin, working for UK retails giants and this stay not only diversified my work experience but
also my cultural experience. It has improved my exposure to diverse situations with increasing
levels of complexity and this exposure has increased my eagerness for new challenges. It has
instigated a feeling in me that there

Our study had many conclusions congruent with the findings found in our review of literature, but a
portion of our research explored areas that the other studies did not. Self–efficacy was a factor
studied in both Peterson (2009) and McLaughlin, et al., (2008) research studies. Although our
research did not report self–efficacy scales, it did look at attributes related to self–efficacy, shown in
Table 7, such as leadership, stress coping, and adaptation to change. These three factors each had a
strong positive correlation with each other. However, similar to the findings of Peterson (2009), the
data failed to show a significant correlation or relation to academic success (Peterson, 2009, p. 413).
Our study also analyzed introverted personality characteristics compared to extraverted. Research
has found lower scores associated with extraversion (McLaughlin et al., 2008, p. 218). In
comparison, our data was inconclusive and insufficient enough to gain a thorough understanding of
someone's personality. Table 3 shows the majority of >3.5 GPA study individually or in a small
group. This could be considered an introverted way of studying, but there is not enough evidence to
say so without a doubt. Other personality questions asked got an evenly distributed answer response,
therefore were not used for analyzing. Based on previous studies, personality can be seen as an
important characteristic; however our instrument lacked in validity to support this theory. Lancia

Personal Characteristics Of An Individual
Personal characteristics lead to the development of the personality of an individual. As a female, my
routine in each week as well as all my activities, help to develop my personality. I am an
international student from China, and my everyday plans help define the exact personality I possess.
My essay will include a plan for three days from the 26th of April to the 28th of April, where the
three days will present my personality traits through the personal characteristics that I possess. The
essay will present how adaptive, cautious, committed, cooperative, dependable, and well organized
among other factors that I am.
I start all my days by taking a shower for about 20 minutes after I wake up at 10 am. After I had
showered and dressed, I open my computer to check for my day schedules to identify the
assignments that ought to be turned in. While checking the daily routine and class assignments, I
make a list on notecard of the assignments that I need to turn in and other important events on my
calendar. On April 26, I had a quiz and presentation to prepare. In my diary, I note that I also have a
quiz of human resource management class on 28th April, and I need to be prepared for it. Thus, I
need to make time to prepare for the quiz during the day. Once I am done with my morning
activities, and listing all the things that I need to do on that day, I prepare myself to leave. Prior to
leaving my home, I text my close friend Zelda to remember we meet for lunch at 12:30pm at a

Individual Personalities Personality is defined as, "the sum total of ways in which an individual
reacts and interacts with others" and personality traits are defined as, "enduring characteristics that
describe an individual's behavior."(Robbins and Judge, 2009) Describing an individual's behavior
can be tricky and trying to change an individual's personality is near impossible. Business managers
have the task of implementing a leadership style that thrives in their perspective business. However,
in order for their particular style of leadership to be a success they need to understand the role
personalities play in business organizations. Team members personalities may dictate what style a
leader ultimately decides to implement, just as, employers will look to hire individuals with
personalities similar to that of the company. Hiring managers need to be in tune with personalities
and how they may help benefit their bottom line. This process is accomplished by the use of
personality tests, which have been around since the early 1900's.
Jung Typology Test
One of the most common personality tests is the Jung Typology Test. Jung is known as one of the
pioneers in the field of psychology, along with Sigmund Freud. His research gave light to the idea of
psychological types.
Myers–Briggs Typology Indicator
Then, motivated by and building upon Jung's research came the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator
(MBTI). Myers and Briggs wanted to share this information with more people.

The contents of this paper demonstrates the knowledge gained in this course using three of the
possible ten questions offered for review. The questions chosen are: 1. What are the benefits and
challenges of understanding individual personality traits of members in a project team? 8. How
could you keep track of various lessons learned associated with communications in order to apply
these to a variety of projects and situations? How could you ensure that you don 't make the same
error twice? 10. Many times in projects, even though the team members may understand the
planning documents, there is a disconnect with what individuals envision as project success. As a
project manager, how would you help people to articulate the meaningfulness of project success?
Why is this important? Benefits and Challenges of Individual Personality Traits Lussier and Achua
describe traits as distinguishing personal characteristics (2013). They go on to add that the particular
combination of traits that define a personal behavior makes up personality. Many tests claim the
ability to measure individual traits against various scales. Graphical layouts are helpful when
considering muliple individual traits that vary in relation to external pressures such as situations,
health, wants, needs, punishments, and rewards. Graphic layouts with 2, 4, 8, or 16 scales allow an
appreciation for the blending and influence of these discrete measurements. For instance, in the

living in eternity. I would like to be more in the here and now, because that is the world we live in
today, and in order to be an effective Christian counselor, I need to be in step with those I
communicate with. Effective therapists appreciate the influence of cultureIt's one thing to
communicate with those of another culture, however, understanding that culture is a different matter.
That's something I would like to develop a deeper understanding, as I believe it would enhance my
ability to gain their trust. I have come to the realization that my own cultural bias and preconceived
notions are a cause for my sweeping away the needs of others because of their values, lifestyles, or
status. For example, I would like to relate to this Hip Hop, and the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and

What Is My Personality Essay
Our personalities differ as much as our DNA. Each one with many different traits that make us who
we are. While my siblings did not make the brightest choices, I have become wiser in the decisions I
make to show who I truly am. My parents, also have helped me discover traits that were in me all
along. My personality consists of different traits that have helped me find my true self. By nature, I
am shy. The decisions that my siblings have made influenced my parents, making them stricter than
most. I was usually put down when I went to ask if I could stay at my cousins' house or if I could go
to my aunts for the day. Since then I always stay home and read a book or an article about a weird
subject. Shyness, just like any other personality trait, has its pluses and minuses. The key is to
harness what makes you more reserved and use it to your advantage. I have grown since I have
learned about my shyness being an issue in school and in the classroom. I have put myself into more
activities, even though I still feel the shyness in me. I have grown more into communicating with
others through my years of high school to prepare for when I go to college. It is so to say that
growing up with a family who kept me isolated from others wasn't necessarily a bad thing. I used it
as a challenge for me to grow my communication

They've worked hard for everything they've got, from the clothes they wear to the roof that they live
under. I remember one time when I was ten years old and my brother was hearing me complain
about working with my dad. I was ranting about how much my fingers were hurting or how my back
ached. He told me, "why are you complaining? Mom and dad do this daily and have been doing it
for their entire lives. Look at their hands when you get home and tell me what you saw." I waited
until both my parents got home. They sit in the same exact spot every day they

Essay on Me Myself and Personality Traits
Me Myself and Personality Traits When asked to describe myself I never know what to say, but I
should know myself the best, right? I like to look at myself as a genuine, thoughtful young lady. I'm
a hard worker; I believe nothing is ever handed to you so you have to go get it. I worked hard to get
to this point of my life and working even harder to get to the successful and graduate part of my life.
I care more for some others than I do myself but I have a huge nonchalant attitude. I don't really
show anger or sadness much I always smile because I'm optimistic about life. I look at life as if
something bad comes along, no need to dwell on it you can't take it back so just move–on and
improve what you did wrong if it's possible.

I was taught to be caring and thoughtful; I wasn't taught anything else from anyone other than not to
trust people. I'm the odd ball of my family because I am nothing like anyone. I can say I was also
taught to believe in myself and never down myself because I can accomplish anything. That is
shown through my determination and hard work because if I didn't believe in myself I wouldn't try
as hard. Last but not all, Humanistic approach sums up my personality a little more than
psychodynamic does because it involves nature vs. nurture and that kind of sums it up just saying
that. Environment and Heredity is kind of the main reasons of my attitudes and actions. In the
article, Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
, Briggs conducts different forms of
psychotherapy techniques to prove whether things in an adolescent's life effect different adolescents
differently. His study was a success and proved that many adolescents have different interpretations
on the same issue. He read them off different problems and wanted to see how they would interpret
them. He used children in the age groups of 12–17 and it worked out. I think that the different
approaches can be brought together in some circumstances but in my case it doesn't. My personality
makes more sense coming from the humanistic approach. Briggs, Stephen (2010). Time–Limited
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy for Adolescents and Young Adults. Journal of Social Work
