Job Description for catering staff In the work area, there are different tasks and activities to be considered such as cleaning, stocking of the supplier, and mainly preparing of the food. Thus, the catering staff members considers all these activities and perform along with the caterers in the particular events like galas, weddings, as well as conference. The job regarding catering staff will be provided based upon the part-time, and also it is highly common for the catering staff members to work late nights, early in the morning, or even on the weekends. Main job of the catering staff will be to work with the chefs as well as servers and provide support to them. One thing which need to be ensured by the catering staff is that the rules regarding health and food safety should be followed, as well as standard of food hygiene must be ensured. 5 key responsibilities Serving guest by visiting them personally on their table Ensuring cleanliness and preparing or setting up the food Cooking fabulous food to retain guests Storing the food safely Remove any garbage or waste after the event Skills and qualifications License related to handling the food High school diploma Experience in this field Ability to work with partners Capable to work in a busy and hard-working environment
