Gore's informal structure is very important, I believe that the type of structure that Gore has will allow the employees aka peers feel as if they are a team. A team built structure and feel will allow the workers to collaborate on the changes in the company. Most companies do not ask for the associates opinions they just make changes and have no sense of care on how others will be effected only about what is best for the business. I see L. Gore as an organic organization, the reason why is because the business practice they use is unconventional, they focus on not having bosses because they understand that that puts pressure on leadership and staff. They also work in a team setting and everyone can communicate and make a logical decision for the company and they have control of hiring and firing of executives. I believe this is how it should be so you can have a low turnover rate and retain your employees and they can perform to the best of their abilities. Gore's flat organizational structure affects innovation in a way that it will benefit everyone not just the CEO or higher ranking employees by not having departments and no titles for leaders makes a more comfortable working environment. This will not leave the employees feeling intimidated and on edge, it gives a more welcoming environment and sends a message of we do things different and you matter to the company, you are more than a number, more than a body, you are a hard working human/person.
