We are in our final discussion for this course, and I must say I am ecstatic! There is multiple step that is implemented with policy making. The different dimensions of policy making include the formulation phase, implementation phase, and modification phase. incorporates activities associated with setting the policy agenda and, subsequently, with the development of legislation driven by that agenda. It is largely the purview of legislative bodies. Congress and state legislatures formulate policy in the form of laws.The implementation involves rulemaking and operational decisions that come after the passage of new legislation. Rulemaking establishes formal regulations and is necessary to carry out the intent of public laws. Lastly, modification phase allows for all prior decisions made within policymaking to be revisited and perhaps changed. This phase exists because policies are established and operate in a dynamic world. Evidence from research can improve the health policy process, by identifying new issues for the policy agenda, informing decisions about policy content and direction, and evaluating the impact of policy. Ethics provide accountability between the public and the administration. Ethics provide accountability between the public and the administration. Adhering to a code of ethics ensures that the public receives what it needs in a fair manner. It also gives the administration guidelines for integrity in their operations. Caputo, R.K.
