Writing Assignment: Case Study #1 Curt Holman Management 3000w-20 April 3, 2024
o Did you make all the changes that were clearly highlighted or identified by your TA? You're right—I made every change my teaching assistant suggested. To comply with BSW criteria for active voice, clarity, and directness, I carefully edited the summary paragraph. I provided a URL and an APA reference for the source. o How did you use those same suggestions to change similar things (that weren't specifically highlighted) throughout the rest of your report? I used my TA's remarks to make consistent changes to the remaining portion of the report. For example, I made sure that every single paragraph was properly structured and devoid of any phrases or words that were used as filler. It was also imperative that I speak in a lively tone and focus on delivering the material in a logical and consistent manner. o How well did you execute the overall recommendations made by your TA? Explain. I did everything in my power to implement the broad suggestions that my TA gave. I used subheadings, added a section on what the team should have done differently, and bolded the middle of the "references" section to improve the report's design and organization, per my TA's advice. o What types of changes did you make to improve your report beyond what your TA suggested? I not only took their criticism into consideration, but I also went above and above what my TA suggested in order to further enhance the report. To make sure that the information supplied was thorough and backed up by proof, I went above and above to find a pertinent source to support
the case study. In addition, I reviewed the recommendations and made some changes to make them clearer and more likely to be helpful in resolving the issues. o What do you think is the biggest improvement you've made to your report and why? The addition of subheadings was the single most important item I did to improve the report. This led to the data being divided into more digestible chunks, which made it easier to read and understand. The paper was easier to read and more ordered than it would have been without the subheadings that gave it a clear framework.
